Stockholm, Sweden – November 19-20, 2007

November 19 & 20th DARFUR/DARFUR will be at the Scandinavian Human Rights
Conference.

The national Human Rights Conference has been arranged yearly in Stockholm
and other major Swedish cities, since 2000. It is the largest Nordic
conference on human rights and a meeting place for activists, researchers,
authorities, politicians and volunteers who work with these issues. The
purpose of the conference is to lift important current events through
dialogue to the political agenda.

This year the conference will take place at the Stockholmsmässan, the Stockholm Convention Center, the 19th and 20th of November 2007. Over 2000 persons and over 40 organisations will be represented. The overall theme of this years conference is on conflict and post-conflict. A number of seminars, speeches, workshops, debates, films and exhibits will address the reasons for why certain conflicts occur, analyze ongoing conflicts, weapons of mass destruction, prevention of conflict, humanitarian and military aid, and reconciliation processes.
